Our centers test for all the most common and popular illnesses such as the flu and strep throat. Our centers also have the capability to test for more complicated conditions such as arthritis, mononucleosis, and thyroid-related illnesses.
Using our high-end technology, our labs can also perform lab services such as microscopies, full lab panels and urinalysis. These services are all available on a walk-in basis, allowing any potential concerns regarding your health to be resolved within just a matter of days.
The invention of vaccinations paved the way for healthier and longer-living generations. At our FMC, we ensure each of our centers is stocked with several vaccinations that can help guarantee that you and all your family members are properly immunized.
All throughout flu season, our centers are stocked with flu shots – all available on a walk-in basis. Our centers also administer vaccines for conditions like polio, measles, meningitis, and hepatitis A & B. Many of our centers also carry travel vaccines that help our travel-bound patients fend off foreign diseases.
Has it been way too long since you’ve seen a doctor? Visit us at any of our Family Care Clinics to receive your physical exam from one of our board-certified physicians. Receiving a Physical helps ensure that you don’t have any conditions that may lead to life-threatening illnesses. We monitor and test our patients’ heart rates, blood pressure, cholesterol and several other attributes.
We also administer several specialty physicals, designed for both patient and employer application. This includes DOT physicals, immigration physicals, pre-employment physicals and executive physicals.
Before we begin working with your child, we will conduct a diagnostic evaluation to determine your child’s strengths and challenges. Unlike other psychological evaluations, our diagnostic evaluation is very practical in nature.
Designed to wrap-around a child and their family in crisis to bring stability and maintain the child in the home environment. This program is a stabilization and preventative service focused on children or adolescents who are at risk in their own environment.
Our program provides comprehensive one-to-one treatment for young children. Treatment usually starts in the child’s home. As the child learns new skills, treatment is expanded to include early childhood education settings, the community, and other settings.
The program emphasizes a positive and systematic way of teaching skills and reducing behavioral problems. Treatment teams focus on creativity and flexibility, and work with available resources to develop a plan for each child.
Diagnosis takes place through a psychological assessment. We observe the child’s behavior and review his or her medical, developmental and behavioral background to identify potential signs and symptoms of autism. We compare these findings against diagnostic criteria to see if a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder can be obtained.
Parent training is well understood as an evidence-based treatment for typically developing children with disruptive behavior. Within the field of autism, the term parent training has been used to describe a wide range of interventions including care coordination, psychoeducation, treatments for language or social development, as well as programs designed to address maladaptive behaviors.
The school environment can be challenging for many students with an autism spectrum disorder. Students with ASD can present difficulties in the classroom and playground. The complexities of these problems can leave teachers feeling frustrated, unprepared or unsure what to do to help the student. Children with autism can, however, overcome these issues with the proper support and training.
We emphasize practical, positive and proactive approaches that are evidence-based and have proven to be effective in advancing the educational progress of children with autism. We work with educators to provide consultation and training in the processes of behavior management, curriculum development and the implementation of behavioral teaching strategies.
Our professional consultants offer more than a standard report to help you learn new theories of support, and more importantly, how to use them correctly. The effects of autism can often be minimized by early diagnosis and with the right interventions, many children and adults with autism show marked improvements. To this end, if you are concerned that your child may be showing early signs of autism, it is important that you consultant with a qualified medical professional.
